Setup
Genuinely straightforward.
I connected a domain I had registered separately through Cloudflare, installed WordPress through the Hostinger dashboard, chose a theme, and had a working site within an afternoon. The control panel is clean and easy to navigate even if you have never touched hosting settings before.
The one thing that helped me most was using AI alongside the process. When something was unclear I asked Claude, got a plain English explanation, and kept moving. Hostinger’s interface is simple enough that this combination worked well even without any prior experience.
Customer support is available if you need it. I did not need to use it during setup which is probably the best thing you can say about any hosting provider. The fact that I could get everything running without contacting support once says a lot about how straightforward the onboarding process actually is.
Day to day use
Logging in is easy. The dashboard shows everything you need without being overwhelming. Adding content, managing the WordPress install, checking basic site stats — all accessible without digging through complicated menus.
I have not had any downtime that I noticed. The site loads quickly. No complaints on performance for a new site at this stage.
The honest part
I cannot tell you how Hostinger performs at scale because I am not at scale yet. Pace Reports is a new site with growing traffic.
What I can tell you is that for someone building their first website with no technical background, it does exactly what it needs to do. It gets out of the way and lets you focus on building.
The promotional pricing is real but worth noting — renewal rates are higher than the first year. Factor that in when you sign up.
